Aran Isles Teapot
This teapot is in a delicate cream color with an ÒPrincess DianaÓ design decorating the body of the teapot. The honey comb is considered symbolic of hard work bringing its just rewards, as the work of the busy bee produces the golden honey. If you have been to the wild Aran Isles (or wish to go) you will appreciate the warm, homey feeling of this teapot. The Aran Islands, off the coast of Galway, Ireland are an amazing place to visit. Many of the people who live in the Aran Isles are descended from fishermen, and some of them still ply the seas. The island is famous for the sweaters that wives would knit for their fisherman husbands. It is this old tradition which inspires the design of this teapot. Bunzlauer Stoneware Teapot-Poland
Today, a 200-year old Polish tradition is carried out by skilled artisans who handcraft and handpaint each stoneware item with the same pride and care used over a century ago. Created in the oldest ceramics workshop in Boleslawiec, Poland, all Bunzlauer stoneware is distinguished by its captivating designs in cobalt blue and earth tones.
